Luxury homes are homes with a list price of at least $500,000. Wake County currently has 1091 homes on the market. Johnston County has 62 with an average days on market of 221.
In 2009, Wake County had 786 homes that sold. The average days on market were 161 with an average square footage of 4250. Johnston County had 17 homes sell with an average days on market of 273. Johnston County’s top selling luxury homes subdivision was Flowers Plantation.
There are 119 homes for sale that are not in a subdivision or do not have restrictive covenants and are on at least 1+ acre of land. The average days on market is 254. Out of those 119, 16 homes are on 3 to 6 acres, 25 homes on 6 to 10 acres, and finally, 61 homes for sale on over 11 acres of land.
